As traditional seafarers, the old Omanis were involved in a lively exchange throughout the history with other cultures and civilizations for many thousands of years.
Here they have developed the capability to integrate the useful elements of other cultures and civilizations into their own culture, without losing their own identity and uniqueness.
Drawing on this experience, the Omanis are also developing their modern art in their own way and always in accordance with Islamic traditions.
